NASA image of about 10,000 sun-like stars of the Milky Way.
This impressive photo of the objects it contains wouldn't be missed in a galaxy that contains between 100 to 400 Billion.
The Milky Way is a middle of the road galaxy in terms of numbers of stars.
The largest know galaxy is IC 1101. Its vastness has over 100 Trillion stars.
Feeling pretty small right now.
