Warm and cozy on a comfortable couch with a throw while quietly watching the snow falling. This is how I want to portray today's inktober prompt which is snow. The dark night outside perfectly sets the backdrop for these Frail snow flakes gently descending from up above. I love that coziness of the picture hope this will warm up the hearts of my friends who experience snow in their place.
Idea is snow watching. This head is my initial sketch to set that mood
The figure is supposed to be outside playing but the way his head is reclining convinced me to change that idea and created a scene from inside the house. I love it.
A dark background that looks like a washed watercolour effect will be a beautiful option to sketch the snow on. So I drew this big glass window.
Creating the falling snow is my favorite here. It was quick and easy because I was just dabbing my brush randomly and adjusting the size and weight to create depth. An easy yet effective trick.
Hope you like it.
