I assumed the same thing, but to be fair after relooking at their actual communications they never directly claimed there would be a dump at this media event. They just didn't do anything to correct people

Also, it was terrible timing IMO for a sale as steem dollars were trading below average prices, however I made an early decision not to attempt to daytrade with these funds so I put my ask at the front
