Shopping for romance? What's up with this nonsense?
The biggest marketing fraud in history! Beware: what you see is not what you get. Yet the mindless consumers that we are haven’t yet came to accept this harsh reality. We may be full of shit, but we’re quite the professionals at hiding it! Wearing a mask has never proven to be more useful. Playing our cards right surely includes of putting on the most charming of our masks.

We don’t shop till we drop - we shop till we’re overly satisfied with the human we’ve got! Bring your flyers to the table, because the comparison game is starting in strong. Quality overrides price anyday. Good is never good enough. I’ll order perfection, nothing less! If you can’t bring the right merchandise, I’ll go seek it elsewhere.

We never examine the person that we are, we already know that we’re worthy of it all! Self serving bias at its best. Seeing ourselves through rose tinted glasses is our best asset. Putting into perspective our own behaviors and wondering if we’d enjoy our own company never makes it to our evaluating sheet. We want others to measure up, we mistakenly think that we’re already the best shot!

When we find the perfect candidate to add to our cart already full of emotional mess, we make sure to remain on our best behavior. Showing too much interest is a sure sentence to death. The stakes are high when the future love of your life is on the line. We may know the rules of romance, but we surely fail at understanding the ones that come with sustaining it through a lifetime.
