Flex culture is symptomatic of a society in which appearances hold center stage. People are constantly looking for new ways to refill their narcissistic supply. They flex to make up for their internal sense of emptiness. Social media is the battleground on which flex culture steals the show. People rival against each other to see who lives the best fucking life. The influencers of the world put on display their jet set lifestyles all the while crying in the back of their private jet.
Willing to sell their soul for more of this shit called paper money, their platform turns into one big advertisement scheme.
