Having ever faced the challenge of being told that your post contains more than 5 tags when you try to publish a new post on Steemit despite the fact that you entered only 5 tags into the category section?
The reason for this error is simply because you must have used entered other tags in the post itself by using the hashtag symbol #whatever.
The Steemit editor counts all hashtags in your post as tags in addition to the tags you enter in the tag/category section!
As you might have already guessed, the simple way to solve this problem is to either remove the extra hashtags in your post which have the # symbol or to reduce the number of tags you enter in the category section so together they all tally 5!
