Israel is a world giant in high technology. But have you ever think how they established themselves in that position within a short period. It's not a single things that helps themselves to achieve themselves in that position. I will try to give some clue how it has been possible for them.

Israel is an immigrant country from different region and different culture. But for a new country everything needs to be settled like their agriculture, communication, military, medicine etc. There is a proverb "necessity is the mother of invention". In that case they have invested 5% of their GDP to the research sector, no country is closer to that percentage. They also put emphasis on their education system from the elementary to academic. As wee know that they have a small population, but they have created some world genius mind.
From the beginning Israel's people enjoying service from tech giant google, apple, amazon, facebook, microsoft. Also all of the big tech giant has a research and development center in Israel. Young Israelis attend a training section related to technology and science friction.
Now come to the point of investment. About 80% of the investment in Israel for their private sector comes from other countries.
