Near my place ,there was a man who committed suicide due to his problems which was eventually led just because he is a “guy” .
This happened like 2 decades ago , there was a HR Manager of a factory who is really a people orientated man. And one day he called up a woman to his office to talk to her about her bad attendance. He advised her to manage her things properly and attend to work since she was getting paid a very low wage on that month due to her leaves.
Once he is done , while she get out of the room she was having tears in her eyes and when she closed the room door and move away , a friend of hers approached her and asked what happened. She falsely make a statement , “He touched me at places he shouldn’t”. Within an hour , the whole factory got to know about what she said and believed her just because she is a woman.
The management got to know about this and quickly called the HR Manager up. The whole factory was supporting the woman. The company sacked the man. The man lost his job. After some time , his family got to know this and the wife divorced him. The man lost his wife and children. Family went apart. Later on, the company took a lawsuit on him. He became broke on his lawyer fees. The man lost his money. 5 years later , he committed suicide. The man lost his life.
How a word which was falsely used with a support of the “majority” led a man to suicide….
