The secret really is to use cannon fodder, those that are dispensable, and in the case of DrugWars, these are your rowdies. Simply send one rowdy to battle against a player, and after the 12 minute wait time you will see if you have won or lost the battle, if won, you can send another army of troops to mop up any additional resources, if lost, you can see the size of their army and their resources that are up for grabs and then determine if it is worth sending more to battle it out.
