Well I think I started playing electric guitar when I was 12 , the moment I held and tried to play a guitar was an unexplainable feeling for me. I was never one of the children that can be called prodigy but I worked really hard for years I spent lots of summers in the studio trying to improve myself while everyone was having fun in holidays. That was not a problem because I was having fun too.
I was lucky enough to own a Sienna Sunburst Stratocaster in those days. However I had one problem. No matter how hard I try I couldn't reach the level I desire. Then I decided to move Berlin for educational purposes and I have no extra room to carry that guitar with and I sold it for extra cash 6 years ago. because I wasn't planning to come back to Turkey. That was one of the stupidest decision I have ever made. I never had enough money to get my old equipment back and I didn't play any guitar in the last 3 years. However I'm planning to buy one again for hobby purposes. It is so easy to make music in these days with all those improved digital equpiment. I hope I find the motivation to play it again therefore I will leave here my favourite performances of guitar virtuosos I like.
Yngwie Malmsteen - Black Star
Steve Vai - For the Love of God
Joe Satriani - Flying in a Blue Dream
G3 Jam ( Vai - Malmsteen - Satriani )
Well there a lot of decent virtuosis don't judge me for not putting them in to the list as I said these are my childhood heroes. Eventhough it is impossible to find good footage about G3 Jam's I highly reccomend music lovers to listen and watch those quite extraordinary phenemenon. Well 3 old guitar gods playing together who doesn't want to watch that ?
