A mining machine, it is not necessarily a big block of metal that is not elegant that heats and makes noise. This is what Qarnot Computing wants to prove to us by offering a radiator-miner, with within it two high-end graphics cards.

The radiator is design, minimalist and French! The idea came to them when they realized that they could reuse heat for heat, with heat being the No. 1 enemy of any electronic component. Thus was born the crypto radiator QC-1.

Its configuration is as follows:

Two AMD Radeon RX580 graphics cards
a x86 A6 9500E CPU
an operating system under Linux

Even if the idea looks good, the bill remains expensive to pay and poses some problems. The QC-1 is proposed at 2900 euros TTC for 60 MH / s of hash power for a total consumption of 650w in "boost" mode. Including electricity costs and purchase, the equipment will not be profitable before 3 years. With the same amount, it would be possible to have a machine with almost double in terms of power. If you buy this radiator, it will not be only to undermine, but to join the useful to the pleasant: undermine quietly while warming you.
