As always, scientists are hard at work to uncover the mysteries of our universe. This time they have discovered a new shape found in nature, which they have dubbed the "Scutoid".
Although the unstoppable march of scientific knowledge is always a boon to our understanding, students may not always agree. It was already hard enough to measure Area and volume of familiar shapes such as squares, cubes, circles and spheres, but now they'll have to figure out the same for scutoids. Ouch.
Makes me happy I'm out of school!
