Today I made a personal achievement of reaching 20K (20000) Hive Power on this platform. I powered up my 4000 Liquid Hive to Hive Power to generate some passive income through Curation or Delegation. Lately I have been earning handsomely through both.
This also a great moment as I never expected to reach so far. 20k is a dream number, and contains 100 % of the pure rewards that I have earned so far on this very platform.
This is what it means to giving back to community. What I earned so far can help the communities to grow more.
Many would be thinking of sudden conversion in middle of the month. I know #HPUD happens on the first day of every month. But this conversion was done after some good thought over liquid #Hive utilization. Like last time, I do not wanted to miss out on the surge on #Hive prices. That is why I kept some liquid in my wallet to make use of it , in case of emergency or to reap any benefit of sudden price hike.
The prices have been falling since last few day and I already accumulated few more Hive in process using my #hbd. However er the liquid Hive is not generating any income for me. It was sitting idle for no use. As the market is yet to recover, I already lost some good return in last few months. This made me to change my mind and to put all liquid for secondary source of income. #hivestats showing me that I am far behind in my curstion activity. What used to be more that 10% earlier, now I just made 7% in last 30 days.
The other reason of me powering up is to self curation. The need of the time is to keep the user active. Many new user does not have the patience and falling #Hive prices might hamper their spirit. This is why it is important to keep them alive with as much as rewards as possible.
In return, I also generate some passive income for myself. Which is kind of good utilization of my #hivepower. Atleast my additional 4000 Hive is worth for some more vote value. In case I am unable to to curation to some family issue, surely I will delegate them to some community that supports manual curation. I already delegated some and good to get some handsome daily payouts.
I have kept all option open. It is better to put the liquid money to best use. And what is more better option than #Hive itself.
