People often act on a judgmental nature or prejudice, using their opinions to maintain their personal status. They are quick to share their opinion, no matter how relevant that could be. A fast opinion often signals a strong belief in that perspective, often relating the topic back to their own understanding of "good" or "bad". People are quick to give opinions to satisfy a need for control, feel validated, and assert their expertise. Often driven by the desire to "be right" and appear knowledgeable, people share views on personal and social issues to feel secure in their own lives.

I have the opinion about myself that I can manage all sorts of work with ease. In many circumstances i have proved my ability. But since childhood I faced many criticism about my bulky body. People don't use to like and comment sider me as an under performer. There are many such cases, where people set up the opinion about others without validating the true facts about them. Like in my case, seeing my bulky body, they were in the assumption that I could not be so smooth with my work and be little lazy, however when it comes to actual execution I proved them wrong. Be it plating cricket or swimming or any other sports or sphere. I know I can manage myself better. I faced similar opinion, in beginning of my hive / steem journey, when one of the user, considered my English not aligned with the English of US or UK. Their first opinion was to leave the platform, as it was not meant for non speaking English people. However with passage of time, I stand still and faced all the criticism to spend next 7 years here.
Their opinions hold no power in my empire
Opinions are personal perspectives (e.g., likes / dislikes) that don't need to be right or wrong, making them easy to voice without research. Sometime the people negating opinion proved a demotivating factor and give adverse implication on human being. However it is upto the individual, how they react with such opinion. Changing people's opinions about us requires consistent, positive action over time, not just words. Identify the current perception, then intentionally act in direct opposition to that view while remaining patient. Focus on building trust through honesty, active listening, and apologizing for mistakes. If you are seen as irresponsible, demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and accountability consistently. The important prospect is do not allow others' opinions to dominate your self-worth.
In good faith - Peace!!
