I am that kind of person who never hesitate speaking out if anything going wrong. I can not behold my thoughts, opinion or views on matter relevant to me and sometimes when irrelvant. When someone asks my opinion, I personallyassume it as mine comcern and get myself immersed into their matters, which I belive in todays society quite wrong. But I am like that only and now changing myself at this point of time is pretty difficult. The situation is such that, sometimes I openly share my thoughts and opinion with everyone. Even though it may be wrong or right to an extent.
Last week I was in a centre of target by one of my relative. The reason being I get into their matter unnecessarily.
A person known to me borrowed some money from a shopkeeper and didnt returned it. On my visit to the market, the shopkeeper shared me his ordeal and asked me to remind him of the money. On reaching home and without creating any fuss in this matter at home, I told the guy that the particular shopkeeper was asking about you. I did not mentioned about money or anything. But the smart guy who seems to get into a habit of cheating and fraud simply denied it. I was surprised by his sharp cunning mind. It was not his first case of duping people. There were many instances where he borrowed money from others and never cared about returning. I thought, I did my part best, but unable to digest the wrong done by him. The next morning, the issue has been indirectly conveyed to his father through a slight slip-of-tongue. I was not intended to tell but the message was conveyed to his father. On which the guy came shouting at me. He completely denying the fact that he ever borrowed any money. He was trying to force his words on me. But seeing his behaviour and reaction I regret the fact that I was in middle of storm without any reason. I stayed firm and simply walked away. But there was mental stress and anxiety followed later in the day. The guy was lying only to prove himself correct.
I never intentended to create any disturbances in others life. But my nature of involving myself on others matter was wrong. I should have avoided the matter by simply avoidinv the shopkeeper words. Or denying him that matter was not related to me. But my habit of over caring and friendly open nature is what created all the fuss. I should have listened to spiritual masters who always insist of speaking less and avoiding getting into any mess.
Less interference, more grace.
One of the popular spiritual leader Premanand Ji Maharaj advises his followers to speak less to conserve mental energy, avoid negative speech like criticism or gossip, and redirect that focus toward inner spiritual reflection and continuous chanting (naam jap). Now after going through the storm without any reason, I have started following this words. It was the bitter experience that taught me an important lesson. Unnecessary talking scatters mental focus and drains the inner peace needed for meditation. Speaking less naturally reduces the chances of lying, judging others, or speaking harshly. By being silent on matters helps shift awareness from external distractions to the divine presence within.
Busy minding mine.
Unsolicited meddling often creates arguments and heavy tension where none needs to exist. As it happened with me. Avoiding other people's business helps keep our life peaceful, saves our energy, and respects personal boundaries. When we stay out of matters that do not concern us, we prevent unnecessary stress, drama, and conflict. May be that is a secret for happy living. I th8nk time has come to stop meddling much and focus on our life.
In good faith - Peace!!
