Kids always looking for some fun and adventure. When the life used to be normal, they always insist to go out for some adventure and fun ride during the weekend. Gone are the days ,when they could visit the adventure land, for joyride. But things got changed when adventure came calling to their doorstep,today morning.
I went out, to my friends place for their new home warming celebration. Though it was a limited people celebration yet. The kids were getting bored until they saw "an Elephant Man" they found their own joy ride. An Elephant man came calling from nowhere. These elephant man usually visit different homes, in search out for some meals. In this Pandemic, these poor people too have their difficulty in the upkeep of their pet animals.
In India, you might came across this kind of sight, either in cities on in village. It's not possible for the upkeep of elephants. There is huge cost involves for their food. And the trainer or the owner generally moves from one place to another in search of food. It's kind of begging. When this morning they visited my friends village, everyone took their turn to mingle with the elephant. Also the elephant happily accepting things from everyone hands. Here are few of the shots, as the poor animal accepting all kind of eateries from the home owners.
The animals seems to be very friendly. Thanka to their owner who trained them well. These big animals were well managed and trained by the trainer who called "Mahout"
A mahout is an elephant rider, trainer, or keeper. Usually, a mahout starts as a boy in the family profession when he is assigned an elephant early in its life. They remain bonded to each other throughout their lives'
These single owners ani.als are not from any Circus or Zoo. There were few people who are involved in the selp upkeep of these animals since many years. They keep on passing from.one generation to another. And these people earn their livelihood, like this way.
It's kind of begging, but in turn, they give their own share of fun and enjoyment to kids and people. When they make a visit to any place, they can give a joyride and in return take money. Though not as expensive as any adventure ride. But enough to bring smile to kids.
My weekend started on a happy note. Hope the rest of the days go well as well.
