Having a roof on head is everyone desire. A shelter which we call home is must to live a life. Everyone needs a home and a home without a roof has no meaning.
In India, the ceiling construction is considered to be a very important work and auspicious work. The home owners has made all the efforts to build a base for their family and so does everyone get involved showering the warm wishes.
It is quite a tough job constructing the ceiling as it require a lot of men power along with all the building material. Any shortage during the construction may hamper the construction process. In today's advance age, where everything is technology based, I found my neighbour constructing the ceiling with heavy labour deployment.
So I pitched in too, to see the entire construction process, that involved a rotating Klinker making a mixture of cement, sand and stone pieces. And the labour assigned to arty them make sure to make a proper mixture one by one.
They in turn empty their vessel into the machine and the machine man making sure to mix right amount of water to make a proper mixture, which is neither to hard nor to wet, the mixture is enough water so that it an easily be spread on the roof base.
The major attraction of the construction site was the man made later, that was manually built using the bamboos and tightly tied using the ripe. The laborers carry the load of mixture on their head and get on the roof using the ladder.
It was a continous job, and looking at all the men at the site, I was amazed with their coordination. No shouting, not hassle, they simply know what they were assigned too and keep doing their job actively.
Here are few more pictures shot from the construction site. Good to see all the manual effort involved in making someone life merrier. And thr poor laborers doing their work whole heartidelly for else happiness.
This is a all day process, where the coordination and momentum needs to carry continously. No break in between. At the end of the dsy, they need some treat from the house owners. It may have sweets, or chicken or some alchohal expense. But anything for the hard work done by these laborers for others happiness.
