Steem Basic Income

Steem Basic Income is a social experiment to bring a basic income to as many Steemians as possible. Members join by sponsoring others into the program. Steem Basic Income is delivered through providing regular upvotes to member content.

Enhanced Votes Graph

We last published this graph that 'maps' the interrelationships in our member pool seven days ago. Here is our graph and analysis from last time we published it:

And here is the graph from this week. We are still targeting only 10% of our total VP to be spent on self-voting, but delivered through our regular voting bot (with voting accounts chosen dynamically for each post). That's why three more of our own program accounts are now showing in our graph.

It only shows people that regularly upvote each other or @steembasicincome, or have high subscription levels for regular upvotes that are too big for our smaller voting accounts to deliver. That makes sense, because we have over 4900 active members that are voted by ten different accounts. All of those interrelationships would be too much for this chart.

Member spotlight: @musicvoter

@musicvoter is part of an all-encompassing project to support indie musician (and music video producers) on Steem, Whaleshares, Choon, Narrative... basically if it's blockchain and a good home for musicians, they have something happening to support music there! If you are into #indie music, then you should definitely check them out.
They offer regular SBI giveaways for delegators. It appears to be somewhat random, but you can win SBI and build your lifetimes upvote value and support indie music at the same time. Sustainability Coverage and VP Management

Sustainability Coverage is currently at 79.02% and rshares reward rate is 624,245,740 per SBI unit per day. SBD is below $1.00 again, and we will keep an eye on the levels and determine whether to start up with conversions again. For now, there are no more conversions in the Sustainability Multiplier for at least the next 3-4 days.

The rshares reward rate for bonus units (delegation reward) is not decreased. It actually is higher, to return curation rewards to our delegators. You can help increase the sustainability coverage (and thus the rshares reward rate on regular units) by delegating to @steembasicincome.

Enrollment

If you want to get involved, or to increase the level of basic income that you receive, enrollment is pretty straightforward:

Just send 1 STEEM to @steembasicincome. Include the name of a Steemian to sponsor in the transaction memo (preceded by @). You and the person you sponsor will each receive 1 unit in the program. You can sponsor any active Steemian (except for yourself), it does not have to be a current member.

The official currency for enrollment is STEEM. If we choose to accept SBD without refunding it, you do not receive extra value for it.
