Once, a soccer game in the UK was ended prematurely because of extremely heavy fog, everyone exited the field except for goalkeeper Sam Bartram who didn’t hear the referee’s whistle. He remained on the field and guarded his goal for 15 minutes until the police came and told him of the cancellation.
He probably thought his team was dominating!
