For last Wednesday's meetup our #HivePhilippines group did something different . . we headed to 
@jancharlest's house to celebrate his 22nd birthday 😊
This was an especially important birthday since @jancharlest is one of the co-founders of HivePhilippines.com, he was in attendance at our 1st #HivePhilippines meetup and is also a founding member our FB group chat before it was named #HivePhilippines.
Our online Facebook group chat was originally called 
@steemovers, and it was founded by 
@jemmanuel.
Then in 2018, while 
@chrisrice was looking for online Facebook groups about #Hive, he contacted @jancharlest after finding him in the 
@steemitdavao Facebook group. 
@jancharles invited him to the @steemovers group chat and from there, @chrisrice started getting active in the @steemovers group.
Later that year @chrisrice bought the domains HivePhilippines.com among others, @jemmanuel renamed the @steemovers group to #HivePhilippines and after consistent talk about meeting in person, @jancharlest met with @chrisrice and 
@nathansenn on August 23rd, 2019.
@jancharlest has also been active in bringing new people to the #HIVE blockchain since he works at the Remote Tasks Bootcamp in Davao where he is exposed to a lot of young talent, especially IT graduates and software developers.

To top it off, our group bought a birthday cake for him with his @jancharlest username signed on the cake!
