It's not like you're stranded miles away from anywhere, you have running hot and cold water, there's a supermarket 1/2 a mile in all directions but you then are told that it may all turn out like Venezuela. How are you supposed to imagine what it'll be like if/when the SHTF ?? Should I stock up on Crunchy Nut Cornflakes? Maybe get an extra few cans of Carling? I tell my wife we need to PREP and she things I've gone mad! So I secretly hide tins of baked beans in the shed along with bags of pasta and tins of corned beef. Ok till she finds it whilst looking for the garden shears. I've managed to purchase a shotgun under the pretext of going clay pigeon shooting but shooting doesn't interest me. ANYWAY.... my point is apart from providing gallons of water (which is hard to explain when it comes out of the tap) I think I've got enough tinned food for a few months, what advise does anyone one have on what we might need if the power/food/water is cut off?
