Today, in this unpredictable fast-paced world, change is not only inevitable, it happens more rapidly than ever before, change has become a way of life.
It is not enough to deal with the natural personal changes we all experience in life, but these days we also have broader issues that can be addressed, such as the global economy and the local economy (job loss, corporate closures), environment, technology and cultural values change. Since they are difficult challenges, we resist them. But we must learn to manage change, not ignore it.
Most of us are comfortable with what is known to us, and are uncomfortable with what is unknown. However, it is in our interest to learn to accept change and welcome his challenges. We can keep up with the fact that change can actually be good for us because it helps us develop and encourage personal growth.
Change can occur at any time, when it happens you will be able to give up expectations that no longer fit what is currently happening in the world. Although most of us prefer to deal with comfortable routines, knowing that the current routine may be only temporary and will not withstand the winds of change.
We all have the ability to control our inner and emotional responses to everything that happens, our attitudes towards it, and how we choose to deal with it. Look for positive results for change. Your style in your interaction however often determines the outcome.
Sometimes we are forced to make changes because we allowed ourselves to stick to a protein or lifestyle that no longer works for us. However, if we expect change we become active and not driven by reaction, and we can control the situation. We can look at where we need to make adjustments and then take action, doing so can prevent the stress and anxiety that accompanies the unexpected change.
Change in life is inevitable. Instead of fearing or trying to avoid it, the best way for us is to accept, advance and allow it to be a positive and constructive force in our lives.
