Oklahoma City is growing!

If you have not been to Oklahoma City in awhile or never have been here then I think this is definitely a go to destination for anyone!

Oklahoma City is right in the center of everything in Oklahoma.

Will Rogers Airport is a very nice airport in OKC!

And within a 30 minute drive you have 2 of the largest Casinos in Oklahoma!!

Another great attraction is the Riverwalk in Bricktown, which is in downtown Oklahoma City.

We have 2 Theme Parks and and a Zoo as well!

We also have a river that runs right next to downtown!

And they have recently added Whitewater Rafting!!

Another thing to remember is the Lakes in Oklahoma!

Now most of the larger lakes like Texoma or Eufaula are over an hour away as you can see on the map, but we still have great lakes right in Oklahoma City!

Now the lost lakes is more of an event destination bringing huge artists to OKC as well!

And there are others as well, but these are the larger ones in the OKC Metro.

There are also things from Indoor Skydiving to Upscale Driving Ranges in Chisholm Creek.

Did I mention the Thunder?

If you did not know Thunder is Oklahoma City's NBA basketball team!

Conclusion

Oklahoma City has grown a lot from when I was a kid when the largest buildings were not there, the Riverwalk barely had any shops, and we definitely did not have an NBA team!

But there are cranes and bulldozers all over the city upgrading and adding new buildings, apartment complexes, and attractions!

Now these are just some of the things to do in Oklahoma City, and I am sure there is a lot I am missing, but if you have not thought about visiting OKC or even have been looking for a new place to travel check out Oklahoma City for your next go to destination!
