What we see today is not the the FLIPPENING nor a huge sell off of Ethereum.
What we do see is a continuation of the trend that means cryptocurrencies in general except for some are going down in value. If you are likewise already in the wait-until-the-HARDFORK-is-over-mode then there is nothing out of the ordinary really to comment.
The much hyped Chaincoin(CHC) that has seen a breathtaking run-up within the last 2 weeks from under 0.10$ to 6.84$ at its highest point now seeks for support while currently trading at around 4.80$. I can´t see where the recent price explosion is coming from but I hope it is not purely based on the fact that there is a masternode program to it. I mean don´t get me wrong this feature is an interesting way to earn some passive income but isn´t that also the case for PIVX , DASH Monetary Unit (MUE) and Crown Coin? For all that jumped on to the train last week: happy gain-stacking and money making to you. I definitely missed the boat by not investing at all for the time being.

As the market seems to see where it is to be after AUGUST 1st 2017 I also stopped a long time ago to further invest. It still isn´t the time to get in just now. Many people share this oppinion that is also why there is going to be a wave of incoming capital that is glad it hasn´t sit at the sidelines any longer. From my viewpoint the market is about to see a healthy cryptolike upswing once the upcoming news are history. Presupposed the cryptosphere doesn´t see a split of the Bitcoin chain. That would mean there are going to exist 2 BTC chains at worst competing against eachother. For now I would be satisfied having Bitcoin modified so that it can handle transactions faster than it does now.
As it seems the market finds itself in pretty interesting times. Make sure that you have your Bitcoin locked up in a cold hardware wallet where you hold your private keys to and just enjoy your spare time wherever you may be.
