Hi, Alivers!

Today is the happy 23rd week of my initiative.

Twenty-three weeks ago, my goal was to share a slice of potential growth on Hive and express my gratitude. It's still the same to this day. The only thing that has changed is that I always look forward to that day to have a little chat in the comments below the post. I really grow each week because of these replies. I get inspired and rethink some of the immutable truths I thought I had.

I've been thinking about one phrase for a long time. I come back to it all the time.

The end justifies the means.

I read on Wikipedia that this phrase is attributed to several people at the same time. Apparently this question has plagued not only me for years. I think that it is relevant and seductive to this day.

Let that be our topic today. Let's think about whether this is true.

Does the end justify the means? Do all the means?

By default, I don't think so. If we assume that the world always returns to its balance, then any methods of accomplishment will return the same way. That is, if the means are bad, at some point you could see that boomerang flying right at your head.

It all seems simple. But what do you do if you need to stop evil? That's probably my biggest and most important question. Is it possible to stop evil with evil? If not, then how? If so, how deep does one go into that darkness?

Is it even considered evil?

Right now I see this struggle going on in the world. And I would call it a feast at the devil's ball. A black and white world where white turns to black.

I will, as always, end my thoughts at the end of this post. Now to business!

Goal

As I wrote in the first post Giveaway of Gratitude. 5 HSBI. CLOSED!, I give every day and want to take it to Hive! The purpose of this next giveaway is to give back to Hive and its members my share of appreciation and love! This is a gratuitous giveaway. That is, if the payout for this post is 5.01 Hive, I will give away 6 HSBI! The only thing I get is your love and part of the Hive SBI (that's how HSBI works).

What is HSBI

HSBI is a social experiment that has grown into something bigger. I have read many posts and other information about it. In my opinion, it is worthy of both Hive and this world in general! If you don't already know what HSBI (Hive SBI) is, read this post: Hive SBI

Why am I leaning specifically toward HSBI? Because this value that I give away also stays at Hive. It also shows my love for this blockchain and everyone involved!

Rules

  1. Answer the giveaway question or voice your opinion against it if you feel that way. Just do it in more than 2 words!
  2. Wait 7 days from the time the post is published.
  3. Bots and multi-accounts are not participating and will be tracked manually by me. That's what the 7 days are for.
  4. The five winners will each receive 1 HSBI.
  5. One participant I choose will receive 1 HSBI personally from me! I will publish the reasons in my next post.

It's simple, isn't it? If it is, then go for it! I'd love to see your love for the entire Hive community!

Past giveaway winners:

I picked two more winners with the same answer, but different words. I would shorten that answer to, "I'll stay me". 馃憦馃憦馃憦馃憦

I was really fascinated by it. It took me a while to process this information. Thank you dayadam and almajandra!

All the appreciation awards were sent out about 1 hour ago. I received my HSBI portion for last week and still waiting for this week. Here are my current HSBI figures 猬囷笍

Conclusion

And I would like to end with the phrase I have in my signature Hive.

Remember the methods when going for your goals. Otherwise you can lose yourself!

It is unlikely that we came into this world to get everything at any cost.

I think we are given a path and trials like today's question.

To come to ourselves.

To remain ourselves.

To come back here after all until we are better!

That's all for now! Hive ON! Hive Five! We Are Alive!
