A walk, for me, is little more than a step left and then a step right. My walk, it's a world apart. Even if it's a walk through mud or gray streets, which I have plenty of in my posts. But every post of mine was born, in one way or another, on a walk. Whether it's a place, an idea, a view, or an event. On the go, my brain gives off things that it doesn't when I'm at rest.
Come with me, I'll show you a day in the life of my world!
Even if it is two hours of wandering around my neighborhood!
My day always begins with a look at the sky. The time of year, the time of day, or the weather doesn't matter. If the sky is the way I like it, I can go outside even at night, when I have insomnia. I also often like to take a walk in the rain. But for obvious reasons I won't be able to show you these pictures. I can't imagine how much it would cost to have equipment that isn't afraid of the pouring rain...
Yes, I may be exactly the lunatic you meet every day on your walk. I really sincerely may not notice you, as I sit on a bench and stare into the distance. I also can not immediately hear you, even if you shout at my back, because I have headphones and most often in their thoughts.
That's probably what they call a weird.
But in the midst of my walk, I am most of the time...
Unless my object is you at some point. Yeah, that happens a lot, too. When some people so complement the picture of the walk or, on the contrary, stand out sharply from the picture of this world or situation. That's when the most interesting thoughts are born. It's like the films of Woody Allen, when simple issues can take on new colors. And difficult moments can be explained in one sentence or even one word. Moments of truth in a way...
I love taking pictures along the way. The language of photography can also tell many interesting stories. I am not a pro, so I like to add my thoughts or stories to all these photos. Often they are not connected, but almost always the inspiration is passed around. Photo - thoughts - words - sky - photo. And since I'm wearing headphones, it's your favorite tune in the background...
Do you hear it?
I once wrote before that strange things happen on every walk. Every time. It's like I'm getting information out of thin air. It's a kind of conversation with this world in pictures, people, events and nature. Sometimes it all comes into my walk at the same time, then it's a jackpot. I am often unsatisfied, but I definitely have a lot to be thankful for. The energy that passes through me during my walk lingers and pours out in posts like these. Gratitude number one.
Disappointed with any thing, on a walk I realize how wrong it is or see a refutation of my recent theory. Magic? I don't know, I think it's just clearing the mind of unnecessary worry. Gratitude number two.
I never go down the same roads. I change directions, consistency, speed or time of day. That's how I constantly find new places, new colors, new shades. So I meet new people, see new pictures and new ideas. So even when I'm in the same place, I tend to look from different angles. Gratitude number three.
As a result, every walk I take is a journey into myself, not an escape from anything. If the world is our reflection, I want to make that reflection bright enough to see smiles in my path. If these are the dreams of a five-year-old child, then so be it. The purity of a five-year-old can do the impossible in the end. As long as there is faith, nothing can stop you from being where you dream to be!
And so it will be in the end!
Remember this. Peace!
