I largely agree with you here but fear the coin is 3 sided, and this is where the challenge really starts. There are the minority who are not interested in debating as they really don't really have an axe to grind and just want to stoke fear and hatred. These to me are separate from those who make mistakes through sheer frustration and anger.

This minority will I doubt ever enter debate as their hatred is so deep rooted.
