I've been trying to avoid chemicals too. It will be much easier now I have it under control as I can just run a hoe through it; just need to keep on top to of it throughout summer.

I've still not got the veggies and salad out and into the ground so that will be a job for today. The kids are interested sometimes. The enjoy planting seeds, watering and checking progress. They're less interested in helping get things in the ground when they're ready to go.
