RE: Bozzlife: Impromptu Holiday Baking

Oh and yeast - the quick stuff is perfect and keeping it in an airtight container in the fridge seems to help it keep on giving.

RE: Bozzlife: Impromptu Holiday Baking

That looks lovely! I love stumbling across these recipes and new ways of cooking. Looks like there's a potential market for manufacturing lip free coffee cans :) I know I'd buy one.

RE: My Actifit Report Card: December 19 2020

What a crackin' sky. It's all very frustrating at the moment isn't it. The wife was taking the kids to her folks for Christmas as they've not seen each other in well over a year now. They'll now be stating

RE: For the king! - Let's paint.

I used to love making and painting models when I was somewhere around my early teens. I used to love WWII figures, tanks and vehicles. I'm sure I've still got some of them in the loft. I bought a bunch

RE: Assetto Corsa - Going manual in a Lotus 98T

Yes, you can really go to town with setup options but I tend not to tweak it much. I've been concentrating on trying to learn the tracks. I have completed a few races too. It is very much simulator as

RE: Home (driving) Sim upgrade

It has force feedback so you can sort of feel what's going on. It is still a toy setup really. Youngest daughter loves it and spends a good while practicing. She can get around Brands Hatch at 50 - 70

RE: Pupping season has arrived.

Unfortunately they don't have any signs up. Most locals know about the seals and pups but they seem to ignore it. I mentioned to a woman who had a puppy charging about the place - she didn't put that on

What a lovely looking car. Hopefully it is as good underneath as on the outside.

RE: Morning Run - In the long run

I've not been out much this week. I think I had the beginnings of a gout attack which can make you feel run down with the chills. It had mostly passed by Friday but still feel a little out of sorts. Sure

RE: Bozzlife: Living the Dream (Machine)

I've not seen these before but looks like an interesting bit of kit. I need to have a damn good sort out of my WIFI at some point. I use Orbi currently but haven't really done anything other than secure

RE: Upgrading to Ubuntu Studio 20.10, with a few hiccups

I love doing stuff like this and am happiest when it doesn't go to plan. As you say, you learn when things break.

RE: My Actifit Report Card: November 19 2020

I love seeing the old mining buildings. My kids have seen Cornwall on TV recently and would like to visit for a holiday. Maybe next year of all this COVID stuff is under control.

I perceive Hive has three main strands of users. Those here for the money Those here to share their music, art, writing etc Those who enjoy this kind of thing I'm mostly a number 3 but because I enjoy

RE: Garden Species List: Part 8 - Marvellous Mushrooms

I've started taking photos of mushrooms at our local park when walking the dog. I get the occasional funny look! I downloaded an app for my phone which is supposed to help identify species of plants and

The wear on those steps is impressive. If steps could tell stories and all that! It is an interesting looking place. At first I thought it looked like a happy house, even in its derelict state. Then I

RE: Changing colours of sunrise

It looked to be pretty sunrise again today but I didn't get to see too much of it. Was a reasonably decent morning though. Perfect for getting out for a plod.

RE: Lunch Run - Crash!

It was wild here until after midday and I think only the very brave would have been out and about. I managed to be more active this week. The secret for me seems to be to get up and out. I've enjoyed being

RE: Can we Lose the HIVE Voting Window?

I've been on here for years now and I've not a clue what you're on about :) People are used to not needing to be experts to make the most out of social platforms. I think Hive et al will limit their appeal

RE: Today I hit my 7k weight loss target through eating a Mediterranean diet (no, not pizzas)!

I'm not doing too bad thanks. Has been a stressful few months with my stepdad being unwell, starting a temp contract and trying to keep on top of life. I have been OK with my diet but when I've been bad,
