RE: Soaking up the Surrounding Beauty!

Holy crap that whereabouts looks absolutely stunning! I have to say the cost here looks a little more grey and foggy this morning. Even the seals looked a little miffed with life.

RE: Today I hit my 7k weight loss target through eating a Mediterranean diet (no, not pizzas)!

Awesome job! I recently bought the book and plan to delve into this. It wouldn't have been possible before with my blood clot medication but this has now been changed and I can largely do as I please when

RE: Finally got a New Laptop!

That isn't a bad spec machine and having a decent sized SSD will make all the difference. Many seem to go for more cores, higher MHz and RAM where the real bottleneck is having a mechanical hard drive.

RE: A little treat to myself

I've been a bit naughty and ordered some more; it should arrive today. I might have a last supper with my mum and stepdad tomorrow before we head into lockdown again,

Done :) It's so good I don't know how to spell it correctly.

RE: Tales of the Urban Explorer: The Squatter's House

It looks bigger on the inside than the outside would suggest. Another place that must have been quite lovely in its day. Some nice ceiling mouldings.

RE: Assetto Corsa: Chasing a 1.13:884 at Brands Hatch

It has been interesting to see how big a part muscle memory plays as I now really don't need to think about braking points. All down to fine tuning from here on in. I struggle with a decent lap the moment

RE: Home grown celery!

I planted some celery this year and it did absolutely nothing! Seems it isn't an easy thing to grow ... well for me. Great idea using the end of a store purchased plant.

RE: German Road Trip Part 10. The Waldhous Buch September 2020

The graphitti seems to be a mighty fine upgrade on what you'd find in Blighty. What a story that place has though - I'm astounded what some humans can put other humans through.

RE: New Raspberry Pi 400 reminds me of my early computing days

I think I have more than enough stuff for now but what a lovely tidy upgrade. I pointed this out to a colleague who got all excited over it. I gather he automates his model railway using Raspberry Pie.

RE: Sunday run: Up above the streets and houses

I chickened out of a run first thing this morning as it was blowing a gale. I've only had a light breakfast though so my options are still open should it calm down a little. If not I think I'll have a

RE: I've worked all my life!

This made me chuckle. I meet up with a bunch of oldies on a Saturday morning when Lola and I walk on the beach. They're all at least 30 years older than me and educate me on how my generation have ruined

RE: Was Zorg right?

I struggle with conspiracy theories. I try to be open minded about them but often come to the conclusion that people are neither that clever or that stupid. On the COVID front I can't imagine so many

RE: Home Grown Goodness!

My back garden is north facing and although I tried to grow things this year, it was all a bit of a failure. I like the idea of pots as we're lucky enough to have lots of private off road space to the

RE: Taking Steps to improve Mental Health - Cutting down on Social Media

I've not removed any social media from my devices but have cut my usage down by two thirds. I may take more drastic action but don't feel the need to do so yet. I seemed to be saying to myself "if

Good going Steve! Hope the trainers dry out quickly :) I managed a brief job yesterday morning - it was shocking. At least I got out though I guess.
