Two days ago, I went out with a friend @k-banti to visit the place restaurant. Our primary purpose of the meeting wasn't because of enjoyment, but you know, two men cannot meet without food in the stomach.
Kbanti place was quite far from my side and it took me about 3hrs to get to his side. There was no traffic on the way, and most of the delay came from waiting for the bus to fill up before moving.
I am not the type that goes out often but I needed it because I felt it would loosen me up a little bit. Truth be told, I hesitated to visit Kay because I was considering transport fare and wanted to change the schedule to meet on Google Meet then I thought if there was nothing like Google meet, how would we communicate? Because in the old days, if you want to talk to someone you send a letter or have to travel all the way.
Let's talk a little about the food! I loved it. If you look closely at the plate of rice, you would notice there are two different types. The lighter orange colour jollof rice was so delicious and the reason why I loved it more was because it has some pieced meat in it. So you are sure that as you are eating the rice, meat is going all the way along.
The rice was 1000 naira for a portion. That is two spoons of rice. And the small-sized chicken was 1000 as well. The total cost of our dishes including the two bottles of 5-alive pulpy was about 5500 naira. I.e. $10...
After our meeting went well, it took about 3 hrs to get home again but this time, I took an Uber which wasn't really expensive. It was late in the night and I needed comfort, so I was ready to pay for comfort.
Today I would be in my grandmother's burial ceremony! I hope to share with you how it went with some pictures!
