Academy Playground: Learning Mandarin is a contest held by @joelsegovia, which aims at learning chinese language and chinese culture as well. Chinese is the mother language of nearly 20 percents of the earth's whole population and is gradually growing into a global language like English. As China has been one of the most powerful engines of world's economy, mastering Chinese means you have more opportunities in business affairs and career promotion.
A week ago , @joelsegovia has launched Steem Academy Playground: Learning Mandarin. Part 1. At the same I record a video to support him for the explanation. Part 1 is mainly for chinese tones. There are four main tones in Chinese, however, some people say five, including the neutral tone. Neutral tone has no identity as a tone and it is used with other syllables.
In this video, I will explain how these five tones sound and also give you more examples. Besides, A very interesting practice— a tongue twister is given to people who are interested to challeage chinese. Please submit a video pronouncing this tongue twister. This will promote your understanding of Chinese tones.
