This is my contribution to #wednesdaywalk challenge hosted by tattoodjay@tattoodjay. This walk was Monday, I went to a graduation ceremony in Middlesex County and ended up with a casual lunch in one of my favorite spots, Perth Amboy Armory.

This is the sign when you enter Perth Amboy township. Colorful and patriotic, as Perth Amboy is a historic place.

And this is the restaurant. The building was the residence of the Naval Militia, from 1929. In 1987 was converted in Armory.

Nice setting, by the Pier, breeze blowing. It was a very hot day, the breeze felt so good! The restaurant is basically open, I saw only some removable plastic walls to protect from rain. I don鈥檛 know what鈥檚 going on in winter, never been here in cold weather.

The atmosphere is casual, yet chic. The menu is mixed, although I think it should be seafood only. The location asks for seafood 馃 well... my opinion...

I had blackened Mahi-mahi with mashed potatoes and veggies; it was fresh and delicious. Generous portion! I noticed all portions were supersized, that鈥檚 something unusual. In Manhattan the portions are getting smaller and smaller and prices higher and higher. 馃槃馃槀馃ぃ

Hope you enjoyed my little trip, I know I did. See you next week. 馃槉
