Water is my element, so I must live by the water, otherwise I am miserable. I wish I could’ve lived forever in the Virgin Islands, I was right there, on the beach. Unfortunately, island life has too many disadvantages, especially when you are getting old. Well... I am grateful that I still can be by the water, in my case - the Hudson River, that separates New Jersey from New York. There are many promenades, some within walking distance from my house, some a little further...
Today I went to Edgewater, 10 minutes drive. I saw this sign, I find it funny. WALKWAY. Like we don’t know what is that. 😂
... Walkway for geese for sure. I saw many of them.
This one is talking to me: “hey lady, got treats?”
Nope, no treats, but they are eating something... someone must’ve given them some treats....
My favorite steak restaurant. But not today, some other time.
Pretty flowers all over. Very manicured walkway. Well, Edgewater is a rich town, the real estate is highly priced here, so they have to keep it up to standards.
I hope you enjoyed my story. I walked an hour or so and now, when I’m writing this, I realize I didn’t take any pics of the River. Next time!
