Hello #marketfriday community and lovely 
I am very fortunate that my daughter is shopping for the house, so I don’t have to worry about big grocery shopping. I still go out and buy some fresh fruit and veggies, that’s it. Today I am just walking around, I don’t really need anything, but maybe something will catch my eyes 👀.
I’m heading to a a small fresh market and I am passing by a park with a large metal sculpture. I like this big swirl, it is actually called The Wave. Very impressive.
Oh... so let’s focus on the market post! I always get carried away by art and beauty. What can I do? I am an artist 👨🎤
The fresh market shop is closed for restocking... but they have a few stands outside, so I grabbed a couple of boxes of strawberries... didn’t pay much attention, as I intend to make smoothies, so it doesn’t matter how big or small they are, just not rotten.
When I got home and opened the boxes to wash the fruit... I was shocked!!! Look at these!!!
Humongous strawberries, JUMBO! When I see fruit like this, I automatically think “engineered” and “no taste”. I don’t know how engineered are these strawberries, but they are very sweet and taste very strawberry-like. I should say organic, but I don’t think I remember the organic taste any more. Like the taste of strawberries from my granny’s garden in Romania. 🍓☹️ Sigh...
