Learning to observe our emotions and feelings without attaching our sense of identity on them is most liberating.
We can observe our thoughts and emotions without being controlled by them.
The real self is the observer of all things. We can observe even our thoughts and allow them to pass like a passing cloud without getting involved in the drama games the ego likes to play out with thoughts and emotions.
Personally I have learnt what works for me is always to weigh what I feel against the truth that never changes: LOVE.
When I feel negative emotions I hold them against loves truth and allow what's not of Love to pass away because it doesn't give me life.
It's taken years to practice this but I find it works and keeps me from being a victim of feelings and thoughts as I once was.
Helps me to stay grounded in my worthiness and completeness no matter what anyone does or what happens to me. Love is a solid foundation.
Staying rooted and grounded in love is the most freeing thing we can do for ourselves. Love is a firm foundation.
If it doesn't hold up to love I don't want it ~ It's a lie. Love is life.
