Entry for Artstorm Contest #95 - Art
Hello friends of steemit. I really hope you are having a happy Sunday, whether surrounded by your family, your friends, or with your own company. Today for my entry of the artstorm contest in its 95th week, we have to bring the art of our country, and there are so many art representations in each country that it was difficult for me to choose which one. To be completely honest, my favorite work of art in my country is a very difficult one to draw for me, but I also found it pleasant to show a work of art that is not unique in quantity, that is, every day there are people in my country doing These representations of art and culture, and in most homes can be found. I'm talking about the "chinchorros" or hammocks, which are like hanging beds where people can rest, and also swing (over all children). So what I did was draw this piece, with many colors as they usually are, I want to emphasize that usually when we talk about "Chinchorros" it is a piece woven with thread, and when it is hammocks it is usually more with cloth.
And to complement my background drawing, instead of a bright sky, I chose to use perhaps one of the current arts that I like the most. There is a painter, who unfortunately is not from my country, his name is Romero Britto, whose desire in his art was to see him everywhere, more or less so I understand, and he succeeded. This artist did at least in my country, in the period of 2012-2014 people were wearing clothes, purses, umbrellas with their art, my notebooks of the school were lined with their art. And I loved it, there were murals on the streets as well. It was impressive, and every art has a reason for being, a purpose or a feeling, and it seemed amazing how this artist made it possible. That's why I use it in the background. Well, that's fine, it's not a typical art show of my country, but when I see the pieces of this artist I only think of my little self of that age when I enjoyed seeing this in my country. Art transports you.
