a coffee and a croissant,
that’s how we would start the day,
on a small bistro on Champs Elysee,
and then we would walk,
holding hands,
getting lost into the sea of people,
and a labyrinth of streets
until we’ll reach Montparnasse
and we’ll get our portrait made,
by an old painter
with a chic hat and a grey hair beneath it.
Lost, both of us, into the beauty of the city,
we’ll let our steps to be lead by our hearts,
until we reach the heart of the city and
we’ll find ourselves into the top of the Eiffel Tower,
gazing into the beauty of a Paris night.
