Sometimes I have to remind myself that not everyone thinks like me.

If you are even reading this right now in your head you are in the few % of people who use blockchains on a regular basis.

If you go ask 10 random people on the street about crypto I am sure some of them will claim to have heard of it but would not be able to explain what it is…

Now, take this concept, and apply it to gold and silver bullion, and you will find yourself with a familiar result…

You will find out that the average person doesn’t actually understand what gold and silver are about.

Sure they might know how the metals are used in jewelry, but give them a Canadian maple 1 oz coin that says $50 on it and watch how many people think its worth $50 and not almost $3,000 CAD…

There is a jeweller on YouTube I am sure at least half of you have seen before who goes out on the street trying to give away a free bar of gold or silver and you would be shocked to see how many people think he is luring them into a scam or sale… If someone offers me a gold bar I’d take it first and ask questions later… or maybe I would go draw a moustache and get a change of clothes in order to see how many more bars I can get lol

Well, above I shared a picture of 2 one oz bars.

They are identical in weight and $ amount that I can get at my local gold store. But clearly the size is different.

One is thicker but smaller, while the other is thinner and flatter.

If you saw my previous posts you’d remember I was talking about how ever since I took that RCM gold bar out of its impossibly tight assay card, that I can’t stop staring and touching it… the bar really came alive!

Might be hard to see in the picture but the left bar has a tiny 21 inside the maple leaf to show it is from 2021… Now, I am not a collector or anything, I am not compelled to have 1 gold bar per year… not sure if any of you are the same.

Thats one thing I had to explain to someone close to me… these aren’t considered a “coin collection” to me. I am not out there looking for unique pieces from certain years or anything like that.

I just want to store my wealth in the realest form of money… thats what these are, they are actual money. The price fluctuations give the impression that the metals are investments but really anything measured against the dollar should go up.

With this in mind though, I am constantly on the lookout for the best deal… if this beautiful bar is $50 more expensive than the PAMP bar, which I like but don’t love for some reason, then I would still get the PAMP bar I won’t pay an extra $50 for the bar that I like more… but best believe if they are both the same price… even $5-$10 actually I wouldn’t mind pay more for the one I like, but seems like for now the best price available for gold would have to be off costco with their 4% cashback at the moment you are making a nice little profit by arbing the price difference.

On a different note I was just gifted a free LEO premium account to test and and maybe make it a part of my monthly expenses which will help the LEO price (which is good since I hold some LEO) 🦁

Will be interesting to see how this affects my visibility on the site I would love to get more engagement and share thoughts and ideas about life or investments or anything really.

I will start actually posting more about the projects that are popping up here and there… anyone been here for over 10 years?

So remember when ETH came out, not too long there was an ICO crazy? Then there was binance’s version I think you had to buy up BNB to get in, was it called an IEO? Initial exchange offering? Or launchpad or something.. anyways so we had the ICO era, then there was the Fork era with bitcoin cash followed by bitcoin gold, bitcoin private etc etc… so many scams with each era….

Then we had defi summer and a whole yield farming craze…

This week I intend to discuss the new era of “reflection” tokens… which are basically tax tokens that have a purpose…

Stay tuned to learn more about these reflections tokens :)
