Hieroglyphics(holy writing)

This was original used of ancient Egypt, for religious inscription on temple walls or monumental stones. The use of hieroglyphics (which were pictographic or pictures of men ,animals and objects) date from about 3000 BV and later developed into symbolic images or ideagraphs.
These were written on clay tablets,bark of trees,rocks papyrus etc.
