Nighttime Photography

How is everyone?! It's been a while for me.. Lots going on with the various things @cmplxty and I are doing. I've decided to try and get into doing more photography related things in life. I think I'll try and start sharing some pictures I've taken here on Hive with everyone.

We recently took a nice trip to Maine and saw a whole lot of great stuff. One of the really fun things was the evening and night time photography opportunities! We don't have a lot of stars where we live since it's close to cities and get a lot of light pollution so it was really nice to see it here.

The sunset was really nice to see but what was cool was the time after the sunset.

Seeing the stars in this in-between time of sunset and night time was a good surprise!

What we didn't expect was my phone, a simple iPhone, would take such interesting pictures! We tried on his phone but it didn't work like it did on mine. I think it came out really well, was great to show our son the stars. He hasn't seen those too often since we aren't out at night like this much.
