Here today with some unexpected holiday cheer, months after the holidays ended.

Good Vibes

One of the things that are often needed is some positivity in life. The media is always spouting hate and fear at you during good times and especially in tough times. Some places are doing what they can to combat that constant spew of vitriol in their own little way.

We were driving the other day doing some errands when we saw what looked like a big Christmas tree which we thought was odd since it was February. Sure enough, there it was! The thing was giant in all its glory. There was a lot of outdoor seating near it since things are still restricted around here but people and the business were making the most of it and also spreading a massive symbol of joy and love.

The little one loved it and is smart enough now to know that the holiday is long over so he was confused at why a big tree was still up despite Santa coming and going a long time ago. It was a touching moment indeed and sad, that he’s getting to understand so much!

We aren’t the eat out type people anyways so we wouldn’t really go visit the place but we might make a trip just to show solidarity and support for our local businesses. Those are the most important thing to have and keep alive, not the big companies. The world is built on small business, it’s the only way things will survive!
