Four times World Rally Champion and Championship leader S. Ogier almost lost his second place and championship lead in Mexico after FIA took his gearbox for inspection after rally has finished.
Transmission was sealed for potential underweight and we know that every part of the car must be just as it says in homologation papers. No problems were found of FIA inspection. His M-Sport Ford Fiesta WRC was legal.
Sebastien Ogier still leads World Rally Championship with 66 point, 8 more then J-M Latvala and 18 more then team mate O. Tanak.
