Since this week's topic is about series, I'm going to share the latest gay series (Boys Love, BL) that I've been watching. All series are from Thailand and can be watched with subtitles on YouTube.
The first series that I am going to share with you is “2gether”. It is a romantic comedy that premiered in 2020, it was created by GMMTV and it has only 13 episodes. I know, these Thai series are so short, but I love them.
The main characters are Sarawat, played by Bright Vachirawit Chivaaree, and Tine, played by Metawin Opas-iamkajorn. During this season, we see how Tine and Sarawat fall in love after having some entanglements and funny moments.
In the second season, or rather in “Still 2gether”, we see them a year after they agreed to be dating and you can see how they manage their relationship and college life. This second part only has 5 episodes.
And finally we have the movie, “2gether: The movie”. I didn't like this one that much because I expected them to develop and deepen the story, and instead they played more scenes from the previous series and there was not so much new content. But it makes a lot of sense because in this movie we see them graduate and prepare to live their life together, and I think that's why they decided to show so many scenes from the series, because they explain the reason why Tine and Sarawat are still together and they decide to live together.
Aprovechando que el tema de esta semana son series, voy a compartirles las últimas series gay (Boys Love, BL) que he estado viendo. Todas las series son de Tailandia y se las puede ver con subtítulos en YouTube.
La primera serie que les voy a compartir es 2gether. Es una comedia romántica que se estrenó en el 2020, fue creada por GMMTV y tiene solamente 13 episodios. Yo sé, estas series tailandesas son tan cortas, pero me encantan.
Los personajes principales son Sarawat, interpretado por Bright Vachirawit Chivaaree, y Tine, interpretado por Metawin Opas-iamkajorn. Durante esta temporada, vemos como Tine y Sarawat se enamoran después de tener varios enredos y momentos divertidos.
En la segunda temporada, o mejor dicho en Still 2gether, les vemos un año después de haber aceptado ser novios y se puede ver cómo manejan su noviazgo y su vida universitaria. Esta segunda parte solamente tiene 5 episodios.
Y por último tenemos la película, “2gether: The movie”. Esta no me gustó tanto porque esperaba que desarrollen y profundicen más en la historia, pero pasaron más escenas de las series anteriores y no hubo tanto contenido nuevo. Pero por su parte tiene mucho sentido porque en esta película ya les vemos graduarse y prepararse para vivir su vida juntos, y creo que por esa razón pasaron tantas escenas de las series, porque van explicando la razón por la que Tine y Sarawat siguen juntos.
