There was an interesting piece of news yesterday put out by CNN. Yes, our favorite news source I know but.....interesting to me in that it states that China's Health Minister, Ma Xiaowei, is saying this virus cab spread BEFORE people are symptomatic. Now this is interesting for two reasons.
1. It is not just droplet spread then. It is practically airborne. Much bigger deal when it comes to regional and global threat. Think of the flu. Imagine trying to quarantine it.
2. This also gives credibility to the idea that this is a lab made virus. A designer virus. Not only did it jump into a new species but is thriving in that new species. What thriving means to a virus is easy transmission and enough live hosts to keep it's life cycle going. Remember, this is a novel (new) virus that has never been in humans before. The idea that it made two large and detailed mutations just all at once is just unrealistic. I explain this in the video.

Remember do not be afraid. Let this be an opportunity to practice your preparedness plans. Do not fall prey to hype, just stay informed. The first rule of survival is to be informed. The second is to....Don't Panic.
