As much as I continue to think about it and as much as I believe in the science and in the genius of man, I still do not understand how we managed to get to the moon. I do not understand how it is possible that with everything that goes wrong on earth man could have invested so much energy to go into space. I do not understand how it is possible that with all the people who could be helped on earth, man has decided to get as far as possible from here.

Per quanto io continui a pensarci e per quanto io creda nella scienza e nell'ingegno dell'uomo, ancora non mi capacito di come siamo riusciti ad arrivare sulla luna. Non capisco come sia possibile che con tutto quello che va storto sulla terra l'uomo abbia potuto investire cosi tane energie per andare nello spazio. Non capisco come sia possibile che con tutte le persone che si potrebbero aiutare sulla terra l'uomo abbia deciso di arrivare il più lontano possibile da qui.
