The new city councilor was a man of great integrity. Everyone in the village thought that it was not possible, that purity and unconditional justice could not exist, instead they had to change their mind and accept the fact that someone really represented that famous exception that confirms the rule. Everything he did he did for the common good and he never let himself be corrupted by any private interest.

Il nuovo consigliere comunale era un uomo integerrimo. Tutti nel paese pensavano che non fosse possibile, che la purezza e la giustizia incondizionata non potessero esistere, invece dovettero ricredersi e accettare il fatto che qualcuno rappresentasse veramente quella famosa eccezione che conferma la regola. Tutto quello che faceva lo faceva per il bene comune e non si lasciava mai corrompere da nessun interesse privato.
