Laura always had the same memory in her mind: her mother hanging the laundry on the lines outside the house, outdoors, which they could dry with the warmth of the sun and the breeze of the wind and the scent of lavender. Her mother did not understand how it was possible in the city to take clothes to wash in the laundry or use a skimpy drying rack indoors in a room. Even clothes have their own life - she argued - and they can fill us with positive emotions when we wear them, if they have received the right care and the right energy.

Laura aveva sempre lo stesso ricordo nella sua mente: sua madre che stendeva il bucato sui fili fuori di casa, all'aperto, che potessero asciugarsi con il calore del sole e la brezza del vento e il profumo della lavanda. Sua madre non capiva come fosse possibile in città portare i panni a lavare in lavanderia o usare uno striminzito stendino al chiuso di una stanza. Anche i vestiti hanno una loro vita – sosteneva lei – e ci possono riempire di emozioni positive quando li indossiamo, se hanno ricevuto le giuste cure e la giusta energia.
