Capii che sarei stata una nerd dal primo giorno di scuola, da quando mi affacciai alla porta della mia classe e vidi quel gruppo di bambini urlanti che si rincorrevano, o quelli più impauriti che se ne stavano in disparte cercando di trattenere le lacrime per la mancanza della mamma. Io non appartenevo a nessuno dei due gruppi, io avevo il mio amico gatto nero invisibile e il mio libro degli incantesimi. Sarei sopravvissuta.
