For the Queen of Vaneland each new day was an excuse for yet another tantrum. She had rooms full of dresses and jewelry that she had mostly only worn once. Dressmakers were constantly at work and designers from all over the kingdom were invited to court to please the royalty. Fabrics from every corner of the world were delivered weekly, but nothing seemed to satisfy the Queen's boundless lust.

Per la Regina di Vanesialandia ogni nuovo giorno era un pretesto per un ennesimo capriccio. Aveva stanze piene di abiti e gioielli che per la maggior parte aveva indossato un volta sola. Le sarte erano costantemente al lavoro e stilisti di ogni parte del regno venivano invitati a corte per soddisfare la regnante. Tessuti da ogni angolo del mondo venivano recapitati settimanalmente, ma niente sembrava soddisfare la sconfinata bramosia della Regina.
